Hampson’s Aerospace Machining Division, with over 9,500 sq m (100,000 sq. ft.) of manufacturing space, provides a total integrated capability for the precision machining, testing and assembly of complex gas turbine components for civil and military aerospace, industrial and marine power generation applications.

Specialising in difficult-to-manufacture, performance-critical components from the full range of aerospace alloys and exotic materials, machined components range from small, medium and large prismatics through to rings up to two metres in diameter.

Headquartered in Birmingham, UK, at a prestigious new 5,500 sq m (60,000 sq ft), purpose-built facility, Hampson is equipped with over 160 CNC machine tools, utilising the latest high-speed cutting technologies as well as full, in-house, laser, EDM and wire erosion capabilities. Extensive engineering and supply chain management resource complete the full service offering, all harnessed together by a comprehensive Lean production system.
